Ok, so the mixtape has been officially out for a few days now...by the way I'll be posting the insert for the inside cover on the page so that everyone can have it! I've been getting some pretty decent reviews on the work that I did and I want to thank everyone who downloaded the joint and gave me some feed back...hopefully we'll be going to press this week and the hard copy will be out for anyone who wants one. I will be at the MTP Beat Battle the last Sunday of this month, you can definitely cop one there and also...there will be a smorgasbord of After Image artists at the Man Vs. Machine show put together by Max Jerome and Black 45 @ Rutgers Newark on November 20th...come out, check the performance, if you like what you see...cop a mixtape or two or three. So i've realized not a lot of people read or subscribe to the kid's blog, but the more I think about it the less I really care! Well, for those who keep up, I've got an album and mixtape coming out which should saciate everyone till The Awakening comes. Mixtape comes later this month(hopefully). That title at current is "No 'Coonin' In My Chrysalis Mixtape Sans Volume", but I've realized that's a mouthful so I'm gonna work out a better title. Later, on January 11, I will release my solo debut entitled, "The Capricorn Chronicles Vol. I: The Butterfly Effect". This is going to be me, completely under the microscope for the world to see, it has grown with me and hopefully everyone who listens can laugh, smile, frown, and cry through this epic with me. Been awhile....

What's good blogworld...it's M-to da Y-K, D-to da Y-A Leks in the building as per usual. I've been doing a lot of soul searching past couple of months and haven't had the time to post new blogs, poetry, and such...but I will make it my business from now on to drop at least one post every week from now until the end of the year. Keeping all who are subscribed to my blog abreast of the things I do with this music and poetry and life and shit!!!! Okay, enough for now...sleep well.

So as many things in the wee hours of the morning, it has come to my attention that Graham Stedman is reasonably the smartest man on earth. He is the most well kept human pet anyone has ever had, atop the fact that he has not fucked it up. I've learned the secret to his success.

Do you know why? Cause who the fuck cares what his opinions are, he's the equivalent of a pocketbook!!! He doesn't have to have opinions, just keep his mouth closed.

Fuck Border Patrol and Snitches!!!

So I'm watching MTV True Life again, I've seen a lot of the most thought provoking shit on television watching this program(the heterosexual gay porn star for instance) and I believe todays view was the most aggravating. There were 3 men who were piggy backed on this episode...one whom has been living here for his entire life, 22 years, and is not an American. He was told by our gracious government that in order to get his citizenship he would have to wait anywhere between 15 and 20 years. He can't get a license or a half decent job because of the fact he's not a citizen. Besides that he has to steal wooden pallets to save money because he's trying to go to college soon. This is some mega bullshit. The other gentleman on the show was a sheriff in some small town in Texas who sees the underbelly of the human trade at the border and wants to do something about it. He's a decent fella who is studying law to try to make a change from inside the system. Now the last gentleman of the night...a schmuck from someplace...has decided to join a renegade group of border patrolers who don't shoot at migrants from south of the border...they snitch on them. He proceeds to go "on surveillance" and snitches about every group of migrants he encounters...to which the real border patrol responds by not sending anyone to investigate the matter, because they probably have more important shit to do than worry about migrants running water and food back to their starving families. He personally wins the years biggest dickhead award. Hands down!!! Just wanted to share...go about your lives.

So I haven't been to sleep yet cause I've been revamping my album, The Capricorn Chronicles Vol. I: The Butterfly Effect to be my diary. Yes, I'm going to make that album, all my emotions and feelings, stresses, highs, lows....you name it I'm going to convey it musically. I was inspired by a number of things...two most import. My brother Jason and a track that the super producer extraordinaire, Deal Dolla, did called "On the Way"...shit is tough...expect that on Exposure when it drops it's gonna be a problem. I want to state now I don't give a fuck who takes this album personally...it's for me. I love music and it has done me absolutely no wrong in the years we've spent with each other. So finally, after years of play pimpin', I'm gonna wife her. Do what the fuck I should have been doin all along, making this for us.

So as aspiring artist we are always trying to find new venues to perform. Cion found something on Facebook about a show which was kinda like the feel of the Black Lilly. Obviously, I was down. So we, along with Brokn.Englsh enthusiest Sean came out and the show started with two kids from Rochester rapping about their balls...THEIR BALLS! Needless to say the show went on to showcase Jesse Boykins III, who was dope...the sound man fucked up his set, but he was still dope. Then some gay LL Fool J, Dan from Def Jam Vendetta lookin guy gets up and his back up singer starts suckin his dick instead of doing his role, singing harmony, and shutting the fuck up!!! Man, what a night!!!

Today is thursday, one of my two favorite thursdays of the month...payday! I have a lot to get done with this particular check so..I'm gonna do it. Manage the money so this next check (which will be incredibly stife) won't have to stretch as far. Anyway...how is everyone in blogger land??

Why I Hate March...

First for everyone who was born in this retched month, I am sorry your conception landed around forged your journey into the world around this particular time of year. I hold a particular disdain for the month of March because it was in this month that I made one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made in my life, which by the way says a lot for situation. In the month of March I started dating my ex-girlfriend, who prior to that had been my best friend. I don't know how many people have very close people to them in their lives. I am blessed to have many close friends who I consider siblings more than friends. But honestly... I had one best friend...that was my ex. I wasted years of our lives, being there for each other through thick and thin, over the inane search to find the "one". Now in my own defense, she made the situation a lot worse by being the selfish, childish, and stubborn person who I knew she was..., but regardless as a friend...there weren't many people who I confided in as deeply as I confided in her. I shared deep parts of myself with her that I shared with no one else. The longer this month goes on...the more I think about that day and how my entire life changed. Fuck March...
